Cesc Fabregas deserves RECT from Arsenal fans, says Arsene Wenger
Arsene Wenger has urged the Arsenal boo-boys to lay off former captain Cesc Fabregas when he makes his first return to Emirates Stadium for Chelsea on Sunday. Fabregas left the north London club in controversial circumstances when he joined Barcelona back in 2011 following a memorable eight-year spell with the north London club. Wenger turned down the chance to re-sign the Spanish international last summer and he eventually joined Chelsea for £30m. Fabregas has been instrumental in helping the west London club secure their position at the top of the Premier League and they need just two victories to clinch the title.
