Arsenal, Liverpool target Max Meyer to join Bayern Munich?

Schalke 04 midfielder Max Meyer has reportedly rejected interest from Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool to instead join Bayern Munich. The 22-year-old is out of contract at the Veltins-Arena at the end of the season and is understood to have attracted interest from a number of clubs. Arsenal were said to have been weighing up a January bid for the Germany international, only to instead focus on bringing in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund, while Liverpool are also keen after missing out on Leon Goretzka. According to Italian outlet Tuttosport, however, Meyer will remain in the Bundesliga for the time being as he sees his future with champions and current pacesetters...
