Schalke 04 midfielder Max Meyer has reportedly rejected interest from Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool to instead join Bayern Munich. The 22-year-old is out of contract at the Veltins-Arena at the end of the season and is understood to have attracted interest from a number of clubs. Arsenal were said to have been weighing up a January bid for the Germany international, only to instead focus on bringing in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund, while Liverpool are also keen after missing out on Leon Goretzka.
