GETTY Marcus McGuane could make his first team debut for Barcelona against Espanyol Greenwich-born McGuane, predominantly employed as a defensive midfielder, is among the 12 players selected from Barca B, with no English player having represented the first team since Gary Lineker in 1989. If selected, the ex-Arsenal prospect could be playing alongside the likes of £105m signing Ousmane Dembele, Jasper Cillessen and Andre Gomes. McGuane moved to Barca B last January for an undisclosed fee, signing a three-year deal - with an option to a further two years that features a buyout clause of £22.4m.
