Premier League law change? Mike Riley suggests new rule that could affect EVERY club

SKY SPORTS Mike Riley has suggested a radical new change to the Premier Leagu Riley, the general manager of referee body PGMOL, was speaking on Sky Sports’ Support the Ref week which began on Monday. He went through a string of decisions from the weekend and gave his take on each one while watching TV footage. Riley was then asked for one change he’d like to see made to the game - and his suggestion was an interesting one. The former Prem whistle-blower has proposed that referees no longer keep the time themselves and that it’s done by an external body. A similar system is used in the NBA whereby there are designated timekeepers to keep track of the action. Related...
