Everton 'confident of Jack Wilshere deal'

Everton are reportedly becoming increasingly confident of securing the signature of Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere. Wilshere is yet to agree a new contract at the Emirates Stadium, and the England international will see his current deal expire at the end of June. The 26-year-old has worn the captain's armband in recent weeks after working his way back into the team, and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has spoken on a number of occasions of his desire to keep the midfielder.
