Arsene Wenger was given a wonderful send-off on and off the pitch by Arsenal on Sunday but the search for his successor has meandered since it was announced he was leaving. The powers that be at the Emirates appear undecided over whether to go for youth or experience, which may not be especially encouraging for Gunners fans who were hoping to see a clear succession plan to move forward following the departure of the legendary Frenchman.
