Arsenal have confirmed that goalkeeper Petr Cech will take the number 1 shirt next season. The former Chelsea shot-stopper had previously worn 33, but will now take the top spot, while Hector Bellerin has changed his squad number for the fourth time. The right-back, who has been linked with a move away from the Emirates, will don the number 2 shirt after previously occupying 20, 39 and 24. Following Per Mertesacker's retirement, Mohamed Elneny has now taken squad number 4, while Granit Xhaka has switched from 29 to 34.
