Arsenal in talks with defender Stephan Lichtsteiner over free transfer

Arsenal are in talks to sign Stephan Lichtsteiner on a free transfer, with the defender among Umai Emery’s targets this summer. The 34-year-old could become the Arsenal head coach’s first signing after he sought to make contact with the vastly experienced Switzerland captain, who is expected to lead his country at the World Cup finals in Russia next month.
