‘A little awkward’ … Arsenal fans debate possible hiring of two-time title winner

Arsenal pride themselves on tradition, but they have taken a step in a brand new direction by bringing in Unai Emery as Arsene Wenger’s replacement. The day had to come for the Frenchman to step down, and he did so after 22 years, three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups later. One of the men who learned from Wenger was Robert Pires, who spent six years playing for the North London outfit between 2000 and 2006, winning two league titles in that period. Emery will have his own backroom staff and implement his own style of football on the Arsenal team, but it seems that one of the club legends wants a piece of the action.
