Real Sociedad 'end interest in Arsenal full-back Nacho Monreal'

Real Sociedad have reportedly withdrawn their interest in Spanish full-back Nacho Monreal due to Arsenal's reluctance to sell on the cheap. Monreal was said to be nearing a return to his homeland after being informed by new boss Unai Emery that he was not part of his immediate plans. Despite the 32-year-old not being considered a first pick, however, Calciomercato claims that Arsenal are still after a significant transfer fee.
