Uli Hoeness welcomes Mesut Ozil retirement from Germany duty

Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has criticised Mesut Ozil following his decision to stop playing for Germany, claiming that the midfielder "had been playing shit for years". The 29-year-old, who is of German and Turkish heritage, announced on Sunday that he would "no longer be playing for Germany" after accusing German FA officials of racism.
