Arsenal have reportedly edged closer to tying Aaron Ramsey down to a new long-term contract. The Wales international has been with the Gunners since 2008, and enjoyed his second-best scoring season for the club last term. Ramsey's contract expires next summer and the 27-year-old has not yet given any guarantees over his future at the Emirates Stadium. According to The Telegraph, however, Ramsey is on the verge of committing his future to the North London club, who have appeared to hint towards progress between the two parties.
