‘It was so difficult to leave the club I love’
Tomas Rosicky cannot wait to be reunited with our supporters at Emirates Stadium. The 37-year-old returns for our legends game against Real Madrid on September 8, having become a fan favourite during his decade in north London.
Plenty of memories stand out when Rosicky looks back on his time with us, but he will never forget how difficult it was to say goodbye to our supporters back in May 2016.
“It was very emotional when you leave a place and obviously I knew it for a longer period of time that it would be my end at Arsenal,” he told Arsenal.com.
