Arsenal have officially announced the departure of Stephy Mavididi to Juventus. The 20-year-old striker has switched to Juventus in a surprise move. He will initially link up with Juventus B – one of the Italian giant’s development squads. Considering Mavididi spent last season on loan with Preston North End in the Championship, before joining Charlton Athletic in League One for the second half of the campaign – and wasn’t able to have a big impact at either club – it’s hard to imagine he’ll be even close to first team contention upon arrival in Turin.
