The calm after the storm
The last time I wrote on these pages, Atletico Madrid had just dumped Arsenal out of the Europa League and we were all coming to terms with the fact that Arsene Wenger wasn't going to get the happy ending we’d all wished for him. Just over four months have passed since then…and, well…not much has happened, has it? We've bid farewell to Arsene, gawped at the prospect of Mikel Arteta taking over, persuaded ourselves it might just work out, gasped when Lego-head got shelved by surprise, said adios to Santi, launched the worst home kit ever (it's an open goal for you Adidas), googled Unai Emery (he was at Spartak Moscow, wtf?), listened to the Spaniard ‘Rosetta Stone’ his way...
