Unai Emery not interested in Danny Welbeck future

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has refused to comment on the future of Danny Welbeck following the striker's two-goal show against Brentford in the third round of the EFL Cup this evening. Welbeck netted twice in the first half to put the Gunners in control at the Emirates Stadium, before a late Alexandre Lacazette strike rounded off a 3-1 win over the Championship outfit. The 27-year-old is in the final year of his contract with Arsenal - along with Aaron Ramsey - but Emery insists that he is fully focused on matters on the field rather than the contract negotiations of his players.
