Anderlecht Plays Down Newcastle Deal For Arsenal Target Aleksandar Mitrovic
It has been reported that Belgian club Anderlecht have rubbished reports that they have agreed a fee with Newcastle United for Aleksandar Mitrovic. It emerged on Tuesday that the Magpies had a £15million deal in place for the 20-year old Serbian striker but the Brussels club have dismissed that as speculation. Anderlecht general manager, Herman Van Holsbeeck, has reportedly told Belgian media organisation Stadion that nothing has been agreed with Newcastle. 20-year old Mitrovic, who has been linked with Arsenal in recent times, has scored 25 goals in all competitions for Anderlecht this season.
