Chelsea did not have the busiest transfer window, but they did recruit some decent players to bolster the first XI. Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic were brought in to improve the midfield, while goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga replaced Thibaut Courtois. Maurizio Sarri's side have had a strong start to the season as they currently sit third in the Premier League table, two points adrift of leaders Manchester City and second-placed Liverpool. The team are unbeaten in the top flight after seven games and their midfield in particular is strong.
