Miedema named October WSL Player of the Month

Congratulations to Vivianne Miedema, who has been named FA Women’s Super League Player of the Month for October. The Netherlands striker was in unstoppable form last month, scoring seven goals in three fixtures, including her third hat-trick of the season, against Reading. Miedema’s exploits last month also saw her become the first player to hit double figures this season, with 14 goals in all competitions this campaign. Jordan Nobbs was also nominated for the award.
