North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in the running to sign defender Eric Bailly from Manchester United. The 24-year-old has started just three top-flight matches under Jose Mourinho this season, having fallen behind Victor Lindelof, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones in the central-defensive pecking order. Bailly is eyeing the Old Trafford exit ahead of the January transfer window and, according to the Daily Record, Arsenal and Tottenham could offer the Ivorian a Premier League lifeline.
