Williamson – Everything is still in our hands

Despite slipping to a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea on Sunday, Leah Williamson remains confident that we’re in pole position to win the Women’s Super League. We currently trail leaders Manchester City by a point, but we have a game in hand going into the international break. We spoke to Williamson after the final whistle at Meadow Park this weekend - and this is what she said: on the overall performance… It wasn’t the best game from us. Chelsea took their chances, and to be fair, they probably took their hardest chances.
