Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil 'refusing to leave club'

Mesut Ozil has no intention of being forced out of Arsenal and is ready to see out the rest of his contract, according to a report. The German playmaker is locked in a standoff with manager Unai Emery, having featured just twice for the Gunners this calendar year. Emery once again left Ozil out of his squad entirely for Thursday's trip to BATE in the Europa League, despite being fit for inclusion, amid concerns over the player's workrate against certain opponents.
