Ljungberg – How we are developing John-Jules

Tyreece John-Jules was in fine form on Monday night, scoring twice as our under-23s beat Derby County 5-0. The 18-year-old found the back of the net for the first team in Dubai last month - and since then he’s scored three in his last three fixtures at youth level.  “TJ has always been a very good football player and we’re trying to use him a little bit more in play,” head coach Freddie Ljungberg told Arsenal Player.   “He comes a little bit deeper and he’s becoming more involved in the game. We’re using his strengths and he gets the goals as well, so it’s really good. “We’ve got to rush him slowly! But he’s doing really well and I’m very happy for him.” ...
