Arsenal's Theo Walcott hints at stay after predicting title charge
Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has offered a slight hint that he's set to stay after looking ahead to a sustained title challenge with us next season, he told The Evening Standard. Walcott sounded determined to end his league drought with us and constantly referred to the team as ‘we' when looking ahead to what needs to be done in order for us to challenge current champions Chelsea next term. The 26-year-old is out of contract at the end of next season and there seems to be no movement regarding an extension, however his latest tone doesn't resemble that of a player imminently departing our club.
