Loan Watch: Nketiah scores against Stoke

Eddie Nketiah’s fine form continued for Leeds United on Tuesday night, as he scored his third goal in four games during a 5-4 penalty loss to Stoke City in the Carabao Cup. Danny Batth opened the scoring with a thumping header in the 39th minute, before Sam Vokes fired home from close range to double the Potters’ advantage on the stroke of half-time. Marcelo Bielsa’s side then upped the tempo in the second half, with Nketiah pouncing on a defensive mistake, knocking the ball past Jack Butland and finishing into an open goal.
