Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after they discovered that Nicolas Pepe had scored for the Ivory Coast in their 3-1 win over DR Congo on Sunday. The forward – who cost a club-record £72m from Lille back in the summer – back-heeled into an empty net after some good play from Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha – the Gunners tried to sign the Eagles winger back in the summer before they captured Pepe. It was Pepe's first goal of the season from open play, with his only other strike this term coming from the penalty spot in the 3-2 win over Aston Villa.
