Report: Atletico Madrid want Nacho Monreal
Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal this summer. The Spanish outfit are expected to be in the market for a new left-back in the summer transfer window and have reportedly been knocked back in their bid to bring Filipe Luis back to the Vicente Calderon from Chelsea. According to Marca, Atletico's new target is Monreal, who has developed into Arsenal's first-choice left-back in the second half of the season. Despite Monreal's progress at the Emirates, it is understood that a return to Spain would appeal to the defender. The 29-year-old joined Arsenal from Malaga in 2013.
