Ex-Hull City boss Phil Brown has quite hilariously claimed that West Ham United's Sam Allardyce is as good a manager, if not better, than Arsene Wenger. Allardyce has been in the headlines recently for brandishing Louis van Gaal's Manchester United a long ball team and claims he is one of the more sophisticated managers in football despite his reputation as a man with more ‘direct' tactics than most. And now Phil Brown, who worked under Allardyce as assistant manager during his successful spells at Blackpool and Bolton Wanderers, told BBC Radio 5 Live that his former boss is actually a more successful coach than one Arsene Wenger.
