Arsene Wenger out of race for Bayern Munich job after holding talks

Niko Kovac was given his marching orders after his Bayern side went down to a humiliating 5-1 defeat at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga last weekend. Wenger was soon linked with the vacancy, having been out of management since leaving Arsenal at the end of the 2017/18 campaign. But Sky in Germany has reported that the Frenchman is out of the race following a telephone discussion with Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge on Wednesday.
