Benitez Wants To Take Arsenal Target Raheem Sterling To Real Madrid
It has been reported that Rafael Benitez wants to sign Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling. The Italian is set to become the new manager at Real Madrid, replacing Carlo Ancelotti, and is keen to bring Sterling with him according to the Daily Mirror. 20-year old England international Sterling wants to leave Anfield this summer and although the Reds do not want to lose him, they would rather sell abroad than see him join a Premier League rival. Former Liverpool boss Benitez is set to be appointed at the Santiago Bernabeu next week and reportedly wants Sterling, who is also linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City, to become his first signing with the Spanish giants.
