After taking the decision to sack Unai Emery following a dismal start to the current campaign – the Spaniard had overseen a run of seven games without a win in all competitions – Arsenal are on the look-out for their second permanent manager since the departure of Arsene Wenger back in the summer of 2018. Freddie Ljungberg has been named as the club's interim head coach, but recent reports have suggested the north London side have drawn up a 12-man shortlist to identify the right man for the job.
