Report: Real Madrid want Arturo Vidal
Rafael Benitez reportedly wants to make Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal his first signing as Real Madrid manager. Benitez is expected to be confirmed as the club's new head coach next week and the 55-year-old's attentions will immediately switch to the transfer market. According to Marca, Benitez has already drawn up a list of targets and top of that section is Vidal, who was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United last summer, before eventually remaining in Turin. Arsenal have also been linked with a move for the 28-year-old, but it is understood that Vidal would favour a move to the Bernabeu.
