Premier League running out of time to convince clubs of safe restart next month

Premier League bosses are struggling to convince clubs it will be safe to resume games next month - raising fresh doubts about if the season will get finished. Premier League rulers now have just 72 hours to outline detailed proposals to clubs on how players, managers and staff will be protected from Covid-19 once proper training and matches return. All 20 top-flight clubs will be asked to vote on the medical protocol measures next week - in a move that will make or break the chances of 'Project Restart' being successful. If no agreement can be reached it will leave Premier League chief executive Richard Masters with little choice but to ask UEFA for more time beyond the May 25 deadline to...
