Arsenal want Ainsley Maitland-Niles sold to fund Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang deal

Arsenal are aiming to cash in on Ainsley Maitland-Niles and hope to raise £20m, which they will pump Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's new contract offer. Aubameyang will be a free agent at the end of next season unless the Gunners can convince him to put pen to paper on improved terms. But the financial impact of coronavirus means the only way Arsenal can raise the funds needed is to sell some of their young talent. Maitland-Niles has been primarily used as backup to Hector Bellerin at right-back, but his preferred position is further forward in midfield.
