Premier League chief Masters pleads with fans not to ruin Project Restart

Premier League bigwig Richard Masters has pleaded with fans not to wreck Project Restart. Top-flight football finally returns tonight but fears remain that if supporters turn up outside grounds, the season could still be put at risk. Masters admitted contingency plans are in place to move future games to neutral venues at short notice if mass gatherings do take place. Any such incident tonight could mean safety certificates being withdrawn for games like Sunday’s Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton.
