8 key questions answered as Premier League returns

The Premier League 's highly anticipated 'Project Restart' began on Wednesday with Aston Villa drawing with Sheffield United 0-0 at Villa Park. The season was temporarily postponed back in March because of the impact of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and a number of key changes have been implemented in order to ensure football could return in as safe an environment as possible. Following on from the resumption of the Bundesliga, Serie A and La Liga, the Premier League has now followed suit.
