Manchester United, Chelsea 'turn down chance to sign Philippe Coutinho'

Barcelona have reportedly offered six Premier League clubs the chance to sign Philippe Coutinho this summer. The Catalan giants are desperate to offload the Brazilian playmaker, who has spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at Bayern Munich, in order to raise funds after losing more than £180m as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Bayern have rejected the chance to make his loan move permanent, while the player himself is understood to favour a return to the Premier League.
