Arsenal are considering their options after becoming frustrated with their attempts to land Thomas Partey. Atletico Madrid are proving tricky negotiators with talks so far proving unsuccessful. Partey has been priced at £45m by the Spanish club, which is what his release clause stands at. But the Gunners are not prepared to go that high and have been trying to leverage the price by including Matteo Guendouzi in the deal. And instead of paying the £45m, they have offered £23m but Atletico are yet to accept. It has led Mikel Arteta to look for other options, and Roma star Amadou Diawara is on his radar.
