Arsenal owner Kroenke sanctions new three-year deal for Aubameyang after FA Cup

Arsenal will offer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang a new £250,000-a-week deal this week in a bid to keep him at the Emirates. Aubameyang outlined his importance to the Gunners with two goals to sink Chelsea and land Mikel Arteta the FA Cup in his first season as boss. The Gunners came from behind to win 2-1 at Wembley thanks to the brilliance of Aubameyang, who finished the season with 29 goals in all competitions. The triumph secured them a place in the Europa League and Arteta is hoping this will be enough to persuade Aubameyang to stay.
