Manchester United have reportedly held talks with the agent of Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes over a possible £27m deal. The 22-year-old has been heavily tipped to move to the Premier League this summer, with Everton and Arsenal also monitoring his situation closely. United are understood to have identified Gabriel as a possible long-term partner for Harry Maguire, and RMC Sport reports that they have now made preliminary contact with the Brazilian's agents.
