Agent confirms how Covid-19 ended Man Utd signing Van de Beek’s Arsenal hopes

Donny van de Beek's agent has confirmed how Covid-19 interrupted Arsenal's bid to sign the Dutchman. Manchester United have signed the 23-year-old after agreeing a fee of £36.5m plus £4m in add-ons. The Netherlands international has put pen to paper on a five-year contract and becomes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first transfer of the summer. The United coach is keen on landing three players this summer - a creative midfielder, a central defender and a right-winger. He looks set to join a stacked midfield, including the likes of Fernandes, Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic and Fred.
