Details of Arsenal’s secret Aston Villa friendly emerge including goalscorers

Arsenal could not carry the momentum of their Community Shield win into a secret friendly against Aston Villa as they fell short in north London. The low key affair at the Emirates Stadium ended 3-2 to the home side, as Mikel Arteta’s backline looked shaky once again. The Gunners went behind first as Douglas Luiz struck the opener, before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang found the back of the net once again to equalise. Young midfielder Jacob Ramsey put the visitors ahead again, but Aubameyang was on hand to tuck home a penalty and level the score.
