Premier League fans face delayed return to stadiums after Boris Johnson’s update

Premier League clubs have been hit by a major blow after Prime Minister Boris Johnson admitted doubt as to when fans will be back. October has been identified as the target for when supporters can be integrated back into stadiums. Sport has been behind closed doors in the UK since March due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The financial impact on football, at the very top as well as in the EFL and non-league levels, has been devastating. It was decided earlier this week that all Premier League games at the start of the 2020/21 season will now be shown on TV, just like the end of last term.
