Arsenal want Runar Alex Runarsson transfer sealed in time to make West Ham squad

Arsenal are reportedly hopeful they can secure the signing of Dijon goalkeeper Runar Alex Runarsson in time for him to make the squad for this weekend. The Gunners have targeted the shot-stopper having sold Emiliano Martinez to Premier League rivals Aston Villa. Mikel Arteta subsequently needs to bring in support for No.1 Bernd Leno, and attention has turned to Runarsson. The Icelandic goalkeeper is believed to be close to signing a five-year contract at the Emirates with hopes that a deal can be done before Arsenal take on West Ham this weekend.
