Barcelona launched Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang transfer bid before Arsenal deal
Barcelona made a last minute offer to Arsenal for the services of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Spanish giants made a ‘concrete’ offer for the services of the 31-year-old before he finally put pen to paper on a new three-year contract at the Emirates after months of speculation. The Gabon international had entered the last year of his deal with the Gunners before he agreed terms on the extension, and he had his resolve tested by not one but two European giants beforehand.
