Arsenal could sell Alexandre Lacazette to fund their pursuit of Houssem Aouar. Mikel Arteta is looking to improve his playing squad before the transfer window closes in October, and he could sacrifice one of his forwards to add some creativity in the middle of the pitch. The Gunners have been linked to both Thomas Partey and Lyon playmaker Aouar in recent weeks, which has led to questions over the future of Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira. Although Torreira could end up joining Atletico Madrid to help a switch for Partey, Lacazette could be moved on to give Arteta the cash to bring in the aforementioned 22-year-old.
