Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly hoping to do away with out-of-favour midfielder Matteo Guendouzi before the transfer window closes on October 5. Guendouzi has not turned out for the Gunners since being involved in a fracas with Brighton & Hove Albion's Neal Maupay, and the Arsenal midfielder has been strongly linked with an exit following that incident. According to L'Equipe, the 21-year-old is in an open conflict with Arteta and his future at the Emirates Stadium appears to be nonexistent. Marseille are supposedly interested in taking the former Lorient man on loan for the 2020-21 campaign, with the Gunners still not giving up in their pursuit of Lyon's Houssem Aouar....
