Lucas Torreira agent offers Atletico update as Arsenal miss out on Houssem Aouar
Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira is undergoing a medical at Atletico Madrid today, his agent has confirmed. Torreira, 24, is on the verge of sealing a season-long loan move to Atletico having been deemed surplus to requirements by Mikel Arteta at the Emirates. The Uruguay international has not been used by Arteta in the Premier League so far this season, all but signalling he will not be part of his squad moving forward. And now his agent, Pablo Betancur, has confirmed he will be undergoing a medical at Atletico on Saturday ahead of his loan switch.
