Arsenal hijack Atletico Madrid line up tweet as Lucas Torreira completes medical
Lucas Torreira is closing in on his move to Atletico Madrid, after undergoing a medical with the Spanish club. The Uruguayan has fallen out of favour under Mikel Arteta, with Arsenal looking to offload players ahead of the transfer deadline. Arteta has deemed Torreira surplus to requirements, particularly if they can land another midfielder before the window closes. Torreira’s agent Pablo Bentacur confirmed he would undertake tests with Atleti ahead of a season-long loan deal.
