Matteo Guendouzi to secure transfer deadline day exit from Arsenal

Arsenal look set to finally offload Matteo Guendouzi as the midfielder closes in on a transfer deadline day loan move to Hertha Berlin. Guendouzi has been frozen out by manager Mikel Arteta since the midfielder clashed with Neal Maupay during the 2-1 defeat to Brighton back in June. The Gunners have been keen to offload the 21-year-old - who they value at around £30million - in hopes of raising funds to sign midfielders Thomas Partey and Houssem Aouar. However, potential moves to Marseille, Villarreal and Roma all fell through, leaving Arsenal unable to put bids together for their two top targets.
